How to get to the island of Tenerife

By air

There are two international airports on the island:

Tenerife South Airport (TSF) – Tenerife’s main airport, where the vast majority of flights go to (distance from Viila Encanto is 85 km, 1 hour by car)
Tenerife North Airport (TFN) – regional airport mainly serving flights to nearby islands and to mainland Spain (distance from Viila Encanto is 24 km, 24 min by car)

By ferry

The island can be reached by ferry from mainland Spain and nearby islands. Transmediterránea (www.transmediterranea.es) ships sail from Cádiz, Spain, to Tenerife and the other Canary Islands. The ship arrives after approximately 42 hours at the port of Santa Cruz De Tenerife in the northeast of the island. (the distance from Villa Encanta is 40 km, 40 min by car)

How to get to Villa Encanta

– By car

You can travel around the island with a rental car. You can find car rental offices in almost every major city and at airports. From Tenerife South’s main airport (TSF), head north along the TF-1 and TF-5 highways, which will bring you almost to your destination. After exiting the highway, it is only 2 km to Villa Encanta (total distance 84 km, 48 minutes).

– By bus

Public transport around Tenerife is accessible and clear. Villa Encanta can be reached by bus from both airports.

– Taxi

Taxi service is commonly available at airports and in larger cities.
